Daggers & Pearls
A distinctive voice, rooted in Gulf heritage.
Podcast identity for Wael Al-Sayegh. Design by Basel Almisshal for Rissala Design.
A voice with a sense of place
A microphone brings the spoken word into focus. Pearl-like dots, a traditional dagger and layered sea-and-sand colors connect the identity to Gulf heritage. The high-contrast serif name gives the illustrated symbol an editorial presence.
The podcast explores personal reflection and authentic living.
One identity, several formats
The horizontal signature introduces the full name. A stacked lockup supports portrait formats, while the icon and circular avatar provide compact points of recognition.
Color and lettering
Ocean blue and turquoise lead the palette. Sky blue, sage and warm sand continue the layered landscape within the microphone. The original logo lettering remains intact, paired here with clear supporting type.
The identity in use
A recording notebook, listening screen and event card extend the identity into the podcast’s world. A white leather bag, cap and reusable bottle show how the same signature can work across everyday objects.
