The month of Ramadan is the world’s most widespread fast and the most important month in the Islamic calendar. It is a time when Muslims around the globe unite in peace, prayer and piety. They seek forgiveness, give in charity, and pursue understanding of what Islam teaches us as humanity in search of divine nearness, selflessness and dignity.
