Environmental advisory — turning policy into a message people keep.
An environmental protection advisory needed a brand that carried authority and warmth at once — credible to government and industry, yet human enough to change everyday behaviour.
The challenge
Environmental messaging tends to fall into two traps: dry and bureaucratic, or alarmist and easy to tune out. This advisory needed to be neither. It had to be trusted by decision-makers and embraced by the public in the same breath.
The brand also had to function across very different registers — formal policy documents, school programmes, public campaigns and digital channels — without feeling like several different organisations. And it had to work fluently in two languages.
The real challenge was emotional: making care for the environment feel like a shared cultural value, not an external instruction.
The approach
We anchored the identity in cultural stewardship — framing environmental care as an extension of values the audience already held, rather than a new obligation. That reframing shaped the whole tone of voice.
Visually, we balanced an authoritative core identity with a warmer campaign layer: natural tones, considered Arabic and Latin typography, and motifs drawn from land and craft. The system flexes from a serious policy cover to an inviting public poster while staying recognisably one brand.
We built messaging templates so the team could keep the voice consistent across every channel and campaign over time.
